The Former minister of aviation Hadi Sirika has announced the death of his stepmother Hajiya Amina.
Naija News reports that Sirika, via microblogging platform, X post on Monday, disclosed that his stepmother was neat and industrious.
The ex-minister added that the late Amina mothered him and his siblings so well, saying that their lives would never be the same without her.
He wrote; “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. I lost my stepmother, Hajiya Amina (Amarya). Industrious, neat, forthright and dutiful. She mothered us so well and was never shy to steer us aright. Life will never be the same without you Baba. May Allah grant you Jannatul Firdaus. Sai mun so.”
Bashir Ahmad Reacts As Nigeria Wins P&ID Court Case
Meanwhile, Former presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad on Monday praised former President Muhammadu Buhari for the role he played in the P&ID case involving Nigeria.
According to him, the refusal of Buhari to pay an out-of-tribunal agreement sum of $850 million negotiated by the government of Goodluck Jonathan and instead, seek legal options, set the tone for the victory won by Nigeria in the case.
He also said the P&ID issue started when former President Jonathan’s government reached an agreement with the UK firm.
Naija News recalls Justice Robin Knowles of the Commercial Courts of England and Wales on Monday ruled in favour of Nigeria and quashed the enforcement of the $11 billion arbitration award in favour of Process & Industrial Developments (P&ID) Ltd.
