Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has welcomed her first child with her husband, Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The good news on the birth of a baby boy was announced on Sunday by Iyabo Ojo via a post on her Instagram page.
The new grandmother announced the birth with a photo of her cradling the new child in the hospital, with Priscilla looking on admiringly.
She wrote, “Say hello to the latest, sexiest grandma in town. My grandson is the cutest @rakeem_mk!”
Before her delivery, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala had expressed appreciation to her mother, Iyabo Ojo, who has been by her side during her pregnancy.
Naija News reports that she revealed this in a video shared on Snapchat, where she captured her mother cooking for her.
The new mother had said that Iyabo put her business, work, and life in Lagos on hold to care for her in Canada as she prepares to welcome her first child.
She added that she hardly thinks about meals anymore because her mother is always in the kitchen making sure she is well-fed and comfortable.
Priscilla praised Iyabo for being a constant support system during this period, describing her as the best grandmother already.
She wrote: “She left her business, work, and life in Lagos just to take care of her baby who’s expecting a baby soon. I don’t even get to think about what I want to eat because she’s already in the kitchen making me something. The best grandma award definitely goes to her!”
