A section of the Katsina State House of Assembly, has been destroyed following a fire outbreak in early hours of Wednesday.
It was gathered that the fire started at the chamber and spread to other sections of the Assembly complex.
According to a source that spoke on the development, the fire destroyed some property including sensitive documents of the House.
As at the time of filing this report, men of the state fire service stations were still battling to put out the fire.
This is coming a few hours after fire gut the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kano State.
The incident which happened around 9:30 am, at the Data Processing Centre of the INEC office, burnt laptop computers, desktops and the entire building.
