Former Aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to his Twitter handle to slam the Minister of Defense, Bashir Salihi Magashi, over his condolence speech at the late Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru’s burial who perished in a military crash on Friday, May 21.
The Yoruba born politician who also call out President Buhari for not attending the funeral noted that the ministry’s speech was flawed as some words were mispronounced and unfitting for the context.
Reacting to the video, he wrote, ‘‘First Our president Refuses to attand the COAS burial even though he was in Abuja. The minister of defence was there, and instead of talking sense, he said he had come to express his ‘Heartless felt condolences’ Talking about a Freudian slip!! How much worse can this show get.”
