Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the affirmation of the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
Naija News reported that the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, against the election of President Bola Tinubu.
In a unanimous verdict delivered on Thursday, the court ruled that the appeal filed by Atiku lacked merit.
“On the whole, it is my view that there is no merit in this appeal,” the leader of the seven-man panel, Justice Inyang Okoro, ruled.
Reacting to the development in a post via his official X handle, Fani-Kayode congratulated President Tinubu for a great victory.
He wrote: “Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) for a great victory at the Supreme Court.”
