Eric Chelle Names Nduka, Yusuf, 33 Others In Super Eagles B Provisional Squad For Chan 2025

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has revealed that he ordered his players to keep pushing for another goal after opening the scoring against Zimbabwe in a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifying match held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Tuesday.

Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle, has named a 35-man provisional squad for the B team ahead of the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to take place across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August.

Leading the Super Eagles B squad is Junior Harrison Nduka of Remo Stars. He is joined by Niger Tornadoes’ midfielder Papa Mustapha Daniel, and Nasarawa United forward Anas Yusuf.

Enyimba’s Henry Ozoemena Ani, the team’s first-choice shot-stopper, also made the list alongside Saviour Isaac, Sunday Megwo, Godwin Obaje, and Temitope Vincent.

Super Eagles B team, runners-up in 2018, find themselves in Group D, alongside defending champions Senegal, Sudan, and Congo.

Their first two matches will be played on the island of Zanzibar at the Amman Stadium, before heading to Dar es Salaam to face Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

All invited players are expected to report to camp at the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, on Monday, July 7th, carrying their international passports and valid club licenses.
