The Agaie Local Government Council has kicked off its scholarship program, disbursing ₦20,000 each to 100 students in the first phase. This initiative, spearheaded by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Sayuti Ibrahim Halilu aims to support 300 students across the three zones of the Local Government.

This effort is part of the chairman’s Agaie First agenda in line with the New Niger agenda of Farmer Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago which prioritizes students welfare and education. Notably, the Executive Chairman has consistently demonstrated his commitment to education, having previously covered expenses such as NECO/WAEC/NABTEB and JAMB fees, as well as school fees for students in tertiary institutions within and outside the state.
It’s heartening to see Hon. Sayuti taking proactive steps to support education and empower the youths in the Local Government.
