The Lagos State Police Command has arrested and detained two more students for allegedly being involved in the torture of a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Sylvester Oromoni.
The development brings the total number of students in custody of the Lagos State police command to five.
Naija News gathered that three house masters who were on duty on the day the incident happened have also been arrested and detained.
According to the state police command, they have obtained a court order to detain the students for 21 days at the Juvenile centre.
Recall three students of Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State, were earlier detained in the custody of police for allegedly assaulting 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.
He disclosed that the Command launched a full-scale probe into the circumstances culminating in the death of Oromoni on November 30, 2021.
Two of the parents of the accused students had come out to say their children were not responsible for the death of Sylvester Oromoni.
