Friends and family of 22-year old student of the Cross River University of Technology who was declared missing has insisted she’s still missing.
22-years-old Priscilla Ojong earlier today had via her social media dismissed rumours of her being missing.
Priscilla Ojong via her Instagram page said she was not missing as her phone was bad, hence she was unable to communicate with her friends. Sharing a video of herself, she wrote; ”I am not missing, I am in Calabar; thanks for your love, but you guys should always verify something before spreading it. Please am not lost, am fine .. abeg i say I am in Calabar.”
However, in a new video, friends and colleagues have insisted that she’s missing as the video shared on her Instagram was made under duress and orchestrated by her abductors.

Naija News understands that Priscilla Ojong, a 300-level studying Mass Communication had supposedly left Calabar for Lagos three weeks ago and has since then not appeared at the varsity.
Iwara Iwara, a journalist and publisher of CaliTown disclosed the development. She said Ms Ojong has not been seen or heard since she left Calabar, adding that her phone is unreachable. Two of her friends who spoke to Calitown confirmed that she travelled to Lagos on the invitation of an unknown male friend who credited her account with the transport fare.
One of the friends said she received a call from Priscilla informing her that she had arrived in Lagos safely and will be staying over for just the weekend. Her friends, however, became worried after Ojong didn’t return and her phone has remained switched off.
Several days after, unable to reach her through calls and even text messages, the friends contacted Priscillia’s parents in Akamkpa LGA of Cross River State. Their attempt to reach their daughter equally proved abortive so they informed the police in Calabar.
“We were at the (police) station today. My friend and Priscillia’s dad will be heading to the bank to get her statement of account because the day she travelled the guy in question sent her transport fare”, one of the two friends told Calitown.
