
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended the ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise into paramilitary organizations by one week.
The extension was announced in a statement on Sunday, 3rd August, by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) A.M. Jibril.
Naija News reports that based on the statement, the recruitment portal, originally scheduled to close on Monday, 4th August 2025, will now remain open until Monday, 11th August 2025.
Jibril explained that the extension is to provide additional opportunity for applicants willing to be recruited into the paramilitary agencies.
He added that applicants must be aware that the recruitment process is free of charge.
The statement reads, “The Board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for application for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week.
The recruitment portal, which was initially set to close on Monday, 4th August, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, 11th August, 2025.
“This extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the Paramilitary Services as well as the Board.”
“Applicants were reminded that the official application portal remains “https:// recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.”
“The Board wishes to reiterate that its recruitment process is free of charge as well as remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process.”
