Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived safely in Glasgow, Scotland for a climate change conference.
A statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson Garba Shehu said Buhari would deliver a speech at the summit on Tuesday and outline his country’s efforts to reduce global warming.
The president is expected to meet with US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron.
US President Joe Biden and his Nigerian counterpart Muhammadu Buhari are among 120 heads of state attending the two-week summit.
The climate change conference, dubbed COP 26, is an UN-sponsored conference to review the aftermath of the 2015 Paris Conference.
