Presidential aspirant and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu is currently in a meeting with governors elected on the platform of the party.
Tinubu’s meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum is been held at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
This is coming less than 24 hours after the Vice President met with governors elected on the platform of the party to announce his intention to contest for the presidency.
Osinbajo expressed his intention to clinch APC presidential ticket at the meeting which was held at his Aguda House residence on Sunday evening.
Although Tinubu is yet to officially declare his intention, he informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention in January.
At the time of filing this report, fourteen governors are in attendance with the presidential hopeful.
The governors in attendance include Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Mai Mala Binu of Yobe, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, amongst others.
