Madrid qualified for the final thanks to an extra-time goal from Karim Benzema scored from the spot-kick.
The city had the opportunity to advance into the final when Riyad Mahrez scored with 17 minutes left, but Rodrygo struck twice in the 90th and 91st minutes to force extra time.
Benzema sealed the game on Wednesday with his 15th goal of this season’s Champions League from the spot after he was fouled by Ruben Dias,
The 13-time European champions qualified 6-5 on aggregate for the final in Paris on May 28.
