The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, has won his polling unit.
Naija News had earlier reported that the polling unit of the PDP governorship candidate is Open Space, Iluafon quarters, RA: Aiyetoro 1, Ijumu LGA, Kogi.
Melaye, despite not voting in the election defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Usman Ododo who has the support of the incumbent Governor, Yahaya Bello.
Naija News gathered that Melaye failed to show up at his polling unit to vote, alleging that the election was fraught with irregularities.
The PDP candidate, on Saturday, gathered two hundred and ten votes, while APC had twenty-two votes and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) gathered 1 vote.
