Brazilian professional footballer, Carlos Henrique Casimiro, better known as Casemiro, has extended his contract will his club side, Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old midfielder on Friday agreed to remain with the La Liga giants until June 30, 2025.
Casemiro who is considered to be one of the best defensive midfielders in world football described Madrid as his home, where his dream came true.
Confirming the new deal with Casemiro in a statement on the club website on Friday, Madrid wrote: “Real Madrid C.F. and Casemiro have agreed to extend the player’s contract at the club for the next four seasons, until 30 June 2025,” the statement read.
Casemiro also confirmed the deal in a post on his Twitter page. He wrote “My home, where dreams come true. Here we will continue.”
Meanwhile, Portugal National team captain and former Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has made a u-turn to Manchester United.
