JAMB Bars Institutions From Commencing 2024 Admission Ahead Of Policy Meeting

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has barred all higher institutions from commencing the 2024 admission processes before its policy meeting scheduled to be held this week.

Naija News reports that this announcement was made in the board’s weekly bulletin, which was released on Monday, July 15.

The update states that the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, will lead the 2024 policy gathering, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, in Abuja.

The purpose of this policy meeting is to approve the start of admissions for this academic year.

According to JAMB, all necessary procedures are in place for the start of admissions into the country’s higher education institutions.
