The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Wednesday appeared at the Federal High Court.
Naija News reports that Justice Binta Nyako has denied the bail application instituted by Kanu’s legal team.
The judge said Nnamdi Kanu must account for his whereabouts for years when he was first given bail but refused to appear in court for trial.
The court disagreed with the defendant’s claim that he fled the nation when an armed retinue raided his ancestral home in Abia State.
