The lead counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has disclosed that his client did not sign any document to regain his freedom.
Ejiofor also debunked the report that the IPOB leader was flown to China and Israel.
The lawyer in a statement released on Thursday said Kani is strong and ready to appear at the Federal High Court in Abuja on October 21.
He further stated that the Department of State Services will not have any excuse not to produce Kanu in court.
Ejiofor said Kanu appreciated his supporters for their unwavering solidarity and charged them to intensify their prayers and remain vigilant.
He added, “Kanu urges millions of his followers and supporters to continue to conduct themselves and carry on within the ambit of the laws.
“We are all in agreement that this situation will come to pass soon. Hence, your doggedness, perseverance and prayers shall greatly count in times like this.”
Recall that Ejiofor in a statement obtained by Naija News on Wednesday had dismissed insinuations that the pro-Biafra activist has been flown to India.
According to the lawyer, he visited the IPOB leader in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday.
