Big Brother Naija has honoured three of its former housemates who have passed away.

Naija News reports that during the show on Monday night, all the current contestants gathered as images of the late stars were displayed on the screen.

A minute of silence was also observed in their memory.

Those remembered were Francisca Owumi, Joseph Ada, and Rico Swavey.

Francisca, who was runner-up in the maiden season of 2006 and loved for her lively spirit, died in 2024 after an illness.

Joseph, who also featured in the first season, passed away in May 2023 following health challenges.

Rico Swavey, whose real name was Patrick Fakoya, joined the Double Wahala season in 2018.

He lost his life in 2022 after a car accident.

In other news, Anita Brown, the alleged baby mama of Afrobeats star, Davido, has stirred reactions on social media with a post directed at the fake lives of some celebrities.

Anita Brown took to Instagram with a lengthy write-up aimed at wealthy individuals whom she accused of living fake lives.

Though she did not mention any specific name, her post emerged a few days after the wedding of Davido and Chioma, held on August 9, 2025, in Miami.

The event drew top figures from the entertainment world as well as high-profile dignitaries.
