Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday night received the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, at his residence in Abuja.
Fani-Kayode while speaking on the meeting, noted that the discussed many things with the aim of building communication throughout the nation in order to enhance peace and make the country a better place.
The former Minister announced the development in a post on his Twitter account.
He wrote, “It was my honor & pleasure to receive His Excellency Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state in my Abuja home last night.We had a wonderful time & discussed many things.We shall continue to build bridges throughout this nation in order to enhance peace& make Nigeria a better place.”
“Bala was in high spirits and was as warm and charming as he has always been. Thanks for gracing us with your prescence my brother. Proud of you now and always.”
This is coming after Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) promised to join hands with the federal government in the fight against insecurity in Nigeria.
The governors who spoke under the auspices of the PDP governors’ forum after their meeting on Thursday said the security challenges in Nigeria need to be tackled without consideration for political or ethnic affiliations.
