The former Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sadness over the death of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
Naija News had earlier reported that the wife of the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya, died on Tuesday after a two-year battle with cancer.
Atiku in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday expressed his condolences to the Odukoya family, praying for the repose of her soul.
The former Vice President wrote, “I am profoundly saddened by the death of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, the wife of senior pastor, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, of The Fountain of Life Church. On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to the Odukoya family, friends, and loved ones and pray that her soul finds a gentle repose.”
This is coming after the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo alongside his wife, Faith, paid a condolence visit to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, over the death of his wife.
The founder of Winners Chapel Church was at the residence of the Odukoyas to commiserate with the family and was received by Pastor Taiwo.
Oyedepo visited the bereaved cleric alongside, Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Sam Olubiyo.
