Armed Robbers Storm Bank In Osun Again

A branch of Wema Bank in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State was on Tuesday attacked by armed robbers.

Information gathered revealed that the armed robbers operated in the bank which is located few meters away from the Palace of Aragbiji of Iragbiji.

The incident was confirmed by the spokesman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Osun State, Daniel Adigun.

This attack is coming a month after armed robbers attacked two banks in Iree, Osun State, wreaking havoc on customers and members of staff of the banks.

The details of the latest attack are still sketchy and details will be provided as it develops.

In another development, a crossfire in Abuja between soldiers of the Nigerian Army and Shiite (IMN) protesters on Tuesday has resulted in the death of some persons with many others also injured.

It was gathered that not less than six members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria are feared dead as a result of the clash with security operatives in the nation’s capital city.
