The arrival of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu caused a stir at the convention ground of the party on Tuesday evening.
Tinubu who is one of the aspirants seeking the APC presidential ticket for the 2023 election arrived to massive shouts of Jagaban from the delegates at the convention venue.
As he made his way through the venue, the security team had a tough task in their hands shielding him from the crowd of supporters that thronged him.
The former Lagos State Governor also waved to the crowd of supporters as his security and protocol team cleared the way to lead him to his seat.

It will be recalled that a high ranking member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kabiru Gaya from Kano has disclosed that the list of presidential aspirants in the party has been reduced to two.
He made this known on Tuesday ahead of the commencement of voting by delegates at the APC presidential primary holding at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Speaking during an interview with Channels TV at the primary ground, Gaya revealed the names of the two aspirants remaining in the race for the APC ticket as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Also, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has declared that the presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have not given up on the possibility of producing a consensus candidate.
Speaking at the Eagle Square venue of the APC presidential primaries, Sanwo-Olu said the aspirants are very capable and believe in their individual abilities to secure the APC ticket and win the 2023 presidential election for the party but consultations are still going on among them on the possible emergence of a consensus candidate.
He said some announcements may still be made right on the convention ground that will change a lot of things, saying the situation as it is ‘never say never.’
