Governors elected on the platform of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, are currently in a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Governor’s lodge in Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting is been held by the Progressives Governors Forum to sort the crisis rocking the party ahead of its forthcoming national convention.
Governors in attendance include, the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu; Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Aminu Bello Masari (Katsina), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), and Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Kano).
Others are governors of Imo, Borno, Ebonyi, Lagos, Zamfara, Niger, Ogun, Ekiti and Cross River states.
