The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Andy Uba, has won his polling unit.
According to the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission at the polling unit, Uba had 80 votes in Ward 16, Polling Unit 17 in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area.
The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Charles Soludo, had 10 votes while the governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party, Ifeanyi Uba, polled five votes.
The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Valentine Ozigbo got two votes.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State governorship election would be continued today (Sunday) Independent National Electoral Commission has confirmed.
There were hiccups at different polling units today due to the malfunctioning of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) machine.
