Award-winning Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has expressed sadness over difficulties in securing a travel visa.
Naija News reports that Tiwa Savage, in a post via Snapchat, stated that all travel plans for her son’s birthday have been ruined.
The ‘Ma Lo’ crooner stated that the visa is not yet out, and she is unaware of whether it has been approved or not.
According to the songwriter, there is a huge shoot she does not want to miss in London, as it could affect many opportunities surrounding her album and its release date.
She wrote, “I don’t even know whether my visa was approved or not. All I know is that my passport is not out. I have a huge shoot in London, and if I miss it, I miss so many opportunities surrounding my album and its release date. I feel like crying.
Jamil’s birthday is tomorrow, and the travel plans I had for him are all ruined. My heart is so heavy. I’m just going to switch off today. Praying that God gives life and hope tomorrow”.
Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage recently shared an emotional experience of how her son, Jamil Balogun, reacted after she disciplined him.
The songstress explained how she had yelled at the 10-year-old boy over something he did that she did not like, Naija News reports.
She thought he would be angry and distance himself from her, but surprisingly, she found her son quietly lying beside her on the bed.
Reflecting on the moment, she said being a mother comes with challenges, especially when it involves correcting a child, but it is the best feeling in the world.
