Advancing Micro-Projects in Osun State Communities: Governor Adeleke’s Developmental Achievements

In his effort to ensure and promote access to quality and basic amenities in the communities development, Governor Adeleke’s administration through the Community Social and Development Agency(CSDA) has been working tirelessly to improve the living condition of the people of the rural communities. Through the establishment of Health care facilities and access to clean water.

The Osun State Government has commissioned different Projects in various Local Governments in the state facilitated by CSDA Osun State as part of Osun Cares DLI 1.4. Governor Ademola Adeleke’s relentless, hardworking and efficient Committee resolved to deliver on mandate of the Governor by providing quality basic healthcare service and Borehole Projects for the people in the state .

The 2nd-5th September, 2024 has witnessed continous commissioning of projects on a daily basis. The project coordinator, Dr Adekunle Akindele visited several local government areas of the state to assess and commend on the progress of work done in the health care facilities and Boreholes Projects, before commissioning in Osun State.

Amongst the health care facilities and Boreholes Projects commissioned are;

Orikalam Owo Ope, Osogbo.
Olorunda , Osogbo.
Antakiti Community, Osogbo.

Alhaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa, the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, represented the Governor at the event of project commissioning on Thursday, 5th September 2024. He was joined by other top government officials, political functionaries.

The project commissioning continues as scheduled to other local government areas in the state as the project committee is on a race to complete 200 of the health facilities before the end of October, 2024.

During his address, Alhaji Olaoluwa commended Governor Adeleke for his commitment to rural development and the improvement of basic infrastructure across Osun State. He noted that the Governor’s interventions have significantly impacted communities statewide, contrasting the current administration’s efforts with the shortcomings of the previous administration.
Alhaji Olaoluwa urged residents to support the Governor’s re-election bid, emphasizing that maintaining and sustaining these projects would be the best way to show appreciation for the ongoing developmental strides.

The remarkable personalities at the event were Hon. Nurudeen Emiloju, Special Adviser to the Governor on CSDA;Hon. Eniola Odeniyi SA on Public Enlightenment, Hon. Gbenga Ajayi Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on CSDA; Alhaji Bello Suliamon, Special Adviser to the Governor on RARA; Hon. Lukman Afolabi,.Chairman of the Primary Health Care Management Board; Mrs. Funmi Abokede, General Manager of Osun CSDA; and Mr. Lateef Adedapo, and Raheem muideen owolabi special Assistant on community affairs Acting Permanent Secretary and Dele Tomorin as the program anchor.
