Socio-political activist, Deji Adeyanju has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to beam its searchlight on National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2023 presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Adeyanju made the call on Tuesday in his reaction to the invasion of the Abuja residence of Senator Rochas Okorocha by EFCC operatives.
The EFCC had after invading Okorocha’s home, explained in a statement by its spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren that the former Imo State Governor had been avoiding court summons after he jumped bail in a case of misappropriation of public funds brought against him by the anti-graft agency.
But Adeyanju in his own reaction to the saga, called on the EFCC to also visit the residence of Asiwaju Tinubu.
He wrote on Twitter: “EFCC currently at the home of Rochas Okorocha. I hope they will be moving to Tinubu’s house from there.”

Meanwhile, security operatives on Tuesday fired gunshots and teargas to disperse supporters of the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha who had stormed his residence to protest against the invasion of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
