The lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Ifeanyi Ubah, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party in Anambra State.
The emergence of Ubah, who was cleared by the YPP national leadership in Abuja, will reduce the fear that the election might not hold in November.
Ubah while speaking said the current insecurity in the south-East would not affect the electoral process and that his party would emerge victoriously.
He further stated that his party is not behind the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the state, contrary to insinuations in some quarters.
