The All Progressives Congress on Thursday said plans to bring the government of President Muhammadu Buhari will fail.
The Secretary of the APC caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe while speaking at the party national secretariat said some people are planning to bring down Buhari’s government.
Akpanudoedehe noted that people planning to bring down the government would be arrested and brought to justice.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will be judged by security and other achievements. We should not analyse the achievements of this government based on blackmail.
“Those who are trying to take down President Muhammadu Buhari’s government through the backdoor, till not succeed.
“They are hipping up so that people will believe there is insecurity. They are organised to bring down the government of the APC. We will bring them to book, Insha Allah,” he said.
This is coming after Buhari said individuals after his administration will be shocked as his government will do everything in its power to make sure that they fail.
Buhari stated this after meeting with the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu; and other electoral commissioners over the recent attacks on the commission’s facilities.
