
Senator Patrick Ndubueze, today, Friday, joined the Senate President Dr. Godswill Akpabio, and other colleagues for the final burial rites of Late Senator Okechukwu Ezea, who was committed to mother earth in his home town, Itchi in Nsukka, Enugu State.
Late Senator Ezea, represented Enugu North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate.

Expressing his opinion among some colleagues about Late Senator Ezea, Engr. Patrick Ndubueze said he was yet to overcome the shock of the sad news of the demise of Ezea, describing the situation as most unfortunate for the family, community, the Senate and Nigeria as a nation.
He declared that death can strike at anytime, hence, the need for every one in position of authority to put faith in God Almighty, serving humanity uprightly and with much diligence.

Making a brief remark at the residence of Late Senator Okey Ezea, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, told the family of the deceased that the presence of members of the upper chambers of the National Assembly at the funeral was an indication that their father was very well loved in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He further asserted that the Late Senator had made his mark and was a very quiet man and a great achiever. The Senate President promised that the Senate will continue to identify with the family and watch their progress with keen interest..
