‘Calm Down’ – Senator Zam Tackles Natasha In Northern Senators’ WhatsApp Group

Natasha: 'Akpabio Not A Man Of Integrity, Other Senators Are Cowards' - PDP's Osadolor

Senator Titus Zam of Benue North-West has slammed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central over her ongoing rift with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Naija News understands that the Benue State lawmaker took a swipe at Natasha in the Northern Senators Forum WhatsApp group on Tuesday.

Senator Zam openly criticised Natasha, saying she was drawing unnecessary attention to herself.

According to Sahara Reporters, addressing her in the group chat, Zam wrote, “Why do you wish to be in the news for the wrong reason?

“I thought by now you would be sober and engaging instead of resorting to needless altercations with the system.

“Recall that the Senate president administered the oath of office to you as the head of the institution you belong to.

“Calm down; you can’t subdue this institution.”

According to him, the Kogi Senator should be more composed and constructive in her approach rather than sparking repeated confrontations.

Naija News recalls that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended in March, and the suspension elapsed in September.

However, the Clerk to the National Assembly told Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan that her suspension from the Senate could not be addressed until the judicial process was concluded and formally reviewed.

In a letter dated September 4, signed by the Acting Clerk to the National Assembly, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, the Senate claimed that the issue of her suspension remained subjudice.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had written to the Clerk on August 28, notifying the Senate of the expiration of her six-month suspension period.
