Panic As Fire Breaks Out In Market Near LPG Gas Station, Lagos

A fire outbreak has been reported near a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) station in the Badia Railway area of Apapa, Lagos State.

According to The Whistler, the blaze reportedly began near the Plank Market, directly behind the LPG gas station, around 12:35 PM.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), which confirmed the incident, emergency responders are currently carrying out rescue operations at the scene.

The agency stated that its personnel were helping to direct vehicles away from the affected area.

“Report of a fire outbreak at Badia Railway, near the Plank Market, behind the LPG gas station.

“Firefighters and other emergency responders are already on the scene carrying out rescue operations.

“Our personnel are also on ground to manage and facilitate traffic flow around the affected area,” LASTMA stated on X.
