The Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) has scheduled Saturday, July 11, 2026, for the Local Government Election.
Naija News reports that the commission’s chairman, Jonathan Aifuobakhan, made the announcement on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, during a press briefing at the EDSIEC’s headquarters in Benin City.
