Afrobeats singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has declared himself the greatest artiste of his generation.

The 28-year-old Rivers-born singer revealed this on Thursday night in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The ‘Soso’ crooner stated that he may not have evidence now, but his future work will speak for him.

He wrote: “HI GUYS! MY NAME IS OMAH LAY AND I AM THE GREATEST OF MY GENERATION, I DON’T HAVE PROOFS RIGHT NOW BUT THERE WILL BE A LOT IN THE FUTURE. THANKS. YOURS TRULY, BOY ALONE.”

Omah Lay rose to fame after the release of his debut EP, Get Layd, which produced hit tracks like Bad Influence and Lo Lo.

Since then, he has grown into one of the most streamed young artistes from Nigeria, with his sound gaining traction both locally and internationally.,

Meanwhile, controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has lashed out at fellow artiste, Zlatan Ibile.

He accused Zlatan of refusing to speak about the events surrounding the death of late singer Mohbad.

In the video, Portable questioned Zlatan’s loyalty to Mohbad, insisting that someone who was truly a friend would have stepped forward by now.

He challenged Zlatan to speak the truth and stop avoiding the issue.
