Chelsea are preparing for a massive summer overhaul, with as many as 10 players set to leave Stamford Bridge, according to The Athletic.
The list includes high-profile names such as Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson, and Christopher Nkunku.
Chelsea, under pressure to trim their bloated squad and fund further signings, have identified this player exodus as key to achieving their transfer objectives.
Others expected to be moved on include Djordje Petrovic, Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka, and new signing Renato Veiga.
Chelsea have already bolstered their squad with new arrivals, including striker Liam Delap, who joined from Ipswich Town for €35.5 million. His arrival could spell the end of Jackson’s time at the club, while Bynoe-Gittens of Borussia Dortmund is being targeted as a potential replacement for Madueke.
Several of the players listed, such as Broja, Chukwuemeka, and Veiga, spent last season on loan and are now candidates for permanent exits.
The club sees the clear-out as an opportunity to balance the squad and generate funds for additional reinforcements ahead of a demanding new campaign.
However, the departures of Jackson, Madueke, and Nkunku are not guaranteed, as Chelsea will only sanction their exits if suitable offers are received.
