American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo has disclosed that his car wash business generates more income for him than his successful music career.
Speaking during an interview with Hits Radio, Derulo shared how his car wash venture has exceeded his expectations, becoming a surprisingly profitable investment.
He admitted that he never anticipated the significant financial impact the business would have on his life.
Derulo explained that the unique concept behind his all-glass car wash, where customers can watch the cleaning process, has contributed to its success—despite no advertising.
He said: “It’s true that I make more money from my car washing business than from my music. It’s pretty crazy. It’s something that I didn’t expect at all. I got into it; I thought that it would be good, but I didn’t think that it would be a life-changing event.
“You know what’s crazy? I have never even advertised my car washing business. It’s pretty amazing. It’s a supercar wash. It’s not like the ones you’re probably used to. It’s all glass, so when your car is being washed, everybody can see the action. It’s like a show.”
