Veteran Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola, has revealed why she is unmarried at 54.
Speaking in a recent interview with her colleague, Emmanuel Ehumadu, the thespian disclosed that she is still single because her soul mate died.
According to her, her deceased lover was the person she could do forever with.

Host: “Are you married?”
Akintola: “No.”
Host: “Why?”
Akintola: “He died…The person wey me fit do forever for don die.”
Host: “So, you don’t think you can find another man?”
Akintola: “Do you know how long it took me to find him?”
She said she won’t allow herself to be pressured into getting married just to please people.
The actress, however, clarified that she believes in the concept of marriage but hasn’t found the right man to settle with since losing her soul mate.

Meanwhile, talented Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has dismissed speculations about her upcoming wedding.
Naija News recalls that reports went viral in September 2024 after Ini Edo shared a photo of herself in a traditional Efik bridal gown with a love caption on her Instagram page.
However, during her latest interview with Premium Times, the movie star clarified that the social media post aimed to promote her upcoming four-part series, ‘My Fairytale Wedding,’ and not an engagement announcement.
When asked if she anticipated having a real-life fairytale wedding someday, Ini Edo noted that marriage was no longer a priority for her but having a solid relationship.
She said, “I’m not crazy about marriage; I am crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points.”
Recall that the thespian was previously married to a Nigerian-American businessman, Philip Ehiagwina. The couple got married in 2008 but divorced in 2014
