Nigeria’s talented winger, Chidera Ejuke, has been honoured with the prestigious title of Sevilla’s Player Of the Month for September in recognition of his outstanding performances on the field.
Throughout the month, Chidera Ejuke showcased his skills in five league matches for coach Garcia Pimienta’s team, with an impressive goal to his credit.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international exhibited his prowess by netting the decisive goal in the thrilling 2-1 triumph over Real Valladolid on September 24, further establishing his impact within the team.
Aside from his ability to score goals, Chidera Ejuke is known for his dribbling skills, and he is regarded as one of the best dribblers in the Spanish La Liga even though he has not spent up to three months in the league.
Having joined Sevilla on a free transfer during the summer, Ejuke has seamlessly adapted to his new environment, consistently leaving a mark with his contributions on the pitch.
His exceptional displays have not gone unnoticed, as he has rightfully earned a well-deserved call-up to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches (home and away) against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
Ejuke is poised to rejoin his national teammates in camp, with his arrival in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, scheduled for today, October 7.
