Former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has resumed duties as the Vice Chairman of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA).
He attended his first meeting virtually on Thursday during the formal inauguration of the KADIPA board by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
It will be recalled that Sanusi was appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) by El-Rufai barely 24 hours after he was removed as Emir of Kano by the State government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
KADIPA has a mandate to make Kaduna State the topmost investment destination in Nigeria, by improving its Ease of Doing Business ranking.
Speaking at the formal inauguration of the KADIPA board, Governor El-Rufai appreciated Sanusi for accepting the offer to serve on the board and formally welcomed him on behalf of the people of Kaduna State.
