Nigerian musician, Zlatan Ibile, born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has taken to social media to share his last conversation with his late colleague and friend, Oladips, who passed away at age 28.
Naija News reports that Oladips died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
The death of the rapper generated mixed reactions online as entertainers and fans sent their condolences to the music industry and the family of the deceased.
Joining the host of others in reaction to the tragic incident, Zlatan Ibile took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to reveal the last chat with the deceased, where he confirmed that he has been dealing with health challenges.
Sharing a throwback photo of himself and the deceased, Zlatan Ibile wrote: “Words fail me! Cried all night and prayed to god that I hear good news this morning. Here I am. And I’m never going to see my friend again.”

Oladips Seen Lifeless In Video Shared By Team
Naija News reports that a viral video emerged earlier online showing the lifeless body of Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, also known as Oladips.
The video was shared online by a member of the rapper’s team called Rasheed.
The video, which was released on Tuesday on Instagram, saw Rasheed and two other persons crying over the lifeless body of the ‘Chache’ crooner.
Rasheed cried, “Dips abeg, God abeg. Wein be this.”
Oladips, who hit the spotlight after rapper Reminisce signed him to LRR/EDGE Records, died on Tuesday, November 14.
