May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor, Yul, has congratulated her father-in-law, Pete Edochie, on receiving doctorate degrees in literature and arts.
Naija News reports that Pete Edochie received two doctorate degrees on Wednesday and a lifetime achievement award from Togo University, ISTM.
In the viral video shared, representatives from the University visited the veteran actor at his residence to present the award plaque and certificates.
The actor was further decorated and presented with plagues, after which he posed with them.
In reaction to the feat, the 39-year-old reposted her father-in-law via her Instagram on Thursday, appreciating the University for conferring such degrees on him.
She captioned the post: “It’s a double celebration. Only a veteran and legend gets decorated twice on the same day.
“Thanks to ISTM University for making the right decision to confer the degrees of “Doctorate of Arts” and “Doctorate of Literature” on the @peteedochie the great; a man of honor, a man of dignity, and a father to all. The Lion of Africa.
“My prayer is that the good Lord will continue to strengthen you and mummy and give you only reasons to celebrate and be celebrated.”
