The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and some senators on Thursday stormed Accra, in Ghana, for a wedding ceremony.
Naija News learnt that Akpabio, alongside other senators, joined the family of President Nana Akufo-Addo for the wedding ceremony of Aberewatia Marigold Oye Akufo Addo to Okuapehene.
Nigerian journalist cum Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Dele Momodu, in the photos shared on his Instagram page, revealed that the former Governor of Akwa-Ibom was accompanied to the event by the Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Napoleon Bali, Minister Designate on Gas Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Saviour Enyiekere.
Some of the photos show how Akpabio and his entourage were received at the airport by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana, Ibas Ibok Ette.

What Nigeria Needs To Tackle Corruption
Meanwhile, Godswill Akpabio, has highlighted what Nigeria needs to do to tackle corruption.
He said tackling corruption in the country should involve the push for transparency, accountability, and strengthening the legal frameworks.
The Senate president made this observation on Tuesday in Abuja at the National Policy Dialogue on Corruption, Social Norms and Behaviour Change in Nigerian organized by the Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, supported by the MacArthur Foundation.
