Weeks After Yul Edochie Announces Second Marriage, Timaya Makes ‘Deep Statement’ Concerning Polygamy

Popular Nigerian singer, Timaya has given his take on the issue of polygamy which in recent times has been a major discussion on the streets of social media.

Sharing his thoughts on the matter, Timaya took to his Twitter account to explain that those who should practice polygamy are rich people like Ned Nwoko.

He maintained that those who are managing have no business taking more than one wife

His tweet read: “If u want to be a polygamist do it like Ned Okonkwo. U can’t be managing and have 2 wives. “

This is coming weeks after Nollywood actor Yul Edochie announced his second marriage to his colleague and also the birth of his son.

This led to various reactions from Nigerians. Some condemned him for his actions while others praised him for making the mother of his child a second wife instead of a baby mama.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, for the first time in many years set aside her beef with her colleague Funke Akindele as she publicly celebrates her latest achievement.

Recall that Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abraham have been at loggerhead with Funke Akindele after it was speculated that the mother of twins paid Instagram critics to trash Toyin’s movie ‘Ghost and the Tout Too’.
