Reno Omokri, former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie announcement of his second marriage.
Recall that the Nollywood actor had taken to his social media account to announce that he has a son from his colleague Judy Austin Muoghalu whom he said is his second wife.
He wrote: “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE.
“Born by my second wife @judyaustin1 And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”
Reacting to the proclamation, Reno stated that Yul has done nothing wrong, adding that according to biblical standards polygamy is not a sin.
He tweeted: “In my opinion, @YulEdochie has done no wrong.
“Polygamy is not a sin. God Himself gave David many wives-2 Samuel 12:18. Polygamy is only forbidden for Bishops, and elders in the church-1 Timothy 3:2. Monogamy is a Western construct, not a Christian one.”
Meanwhile, angry Nigerians have dug up an old post of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie admitting that his first wife married him when he did not have a tangible source of income.
