The Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Alwan Hassan, who was abducted during the Kaduna Train Attack has been released by terrorists.
Hassan was among the passengers kidnapped after terrorists attacked the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 8, 2022.
In a video circulating on social media, the terrorists who spoke in Hausa language said they decided to have mercy on the BOA MD in the spirit of the Ramadan season and his age.

Hassan, who was flanked by the heavily armed terrorists, also took a photo with them, confirming that the terrorists were releasing him on compassionate grounds.
It would be recalled some Bandit terrorists on Monday planted explosives believed to be IEDs on the rail track around Katari, Kaduna State which saw a Kaduna-bound train derail.
According to reports, the train which took off around 6 pm from the Idu train station at the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja on Monday hit an explosive device about 30 minutes to Rigasa train station in Kaduna.
After the train was forced to stop, video shared by eyewitness on social media showed the bandits shooting sporadically, which resulted in the death of some of the train passengers.
Days after the incident, the Kaduna State government has ascertained that there were 362 people on board, although some other reports revealed that the number was more than three hundred.
