Tobi the creator, best friend of London based cross dresser James Brown has reacted to the recently proposed cross dressing bill in Nigeria.
Recall that the House of Representative is considering a bill aimed at criminalizing cross dressing except it is done for the purpose of entertainment.
If the bill becomes law, crossdressers will be sentenced to 6 months in jail if found guilty.
Reacting to the latest development, Tobi who features in some of James videos dressed as a woman has stated that he is not a cross dresser but a skit maker.
James Brown shared Tobi’s post and said that he was running.
Meanwhile, controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky has condemned the bill seeking to ban cross-dressing in Nigeria.
Naija News understands that a member of the House of Representatives, Umar Muda on Tuesday, 04 April 2022 presented before the chamber a bill seeking to stop the likes of Bobrisky and James Brown, his copycat, from cross-dressing
The bill was said to pass its first reading on the floor of the House on Tuesday.
With this proposed law, cross-dressers now risk 6 months in prison if passed. Read more
