The reason believed to be responsible for the feud between former first lady Ebelechukwu Obiano and Bianca, the widow of late Chief Emeka Ojukwu, have emerged.
Recall that Naija News earlier reported that the two women had gotten physical during the swearing-in ceremony of Governor Charles Soludo at the state’s government house on Thursday.
According to Vanguard, the former first lady who reportedly had issues with Bianca walked up to her and called her a witch. She asked her why she had attended the event considering the fact that she said they would not win the election.
“What are you doing here? You said we will never win the governorship and here you are. You are a witch” Ebelchukwu Obiano told Bianca Ojukwu.
The statement from Mrs Obiano had made Bianca angry and she instantly slapped her. This resulted in a fight between the two women in the VIP stand.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has stated that it is not considering arresting Ebelechukwu Obiano and Bianca for what transpired between them on Thursday.
The Police spokesperson in Anambra, Ikenga Tochukwu made this known on Thursday following the public altercation between the two women during the swearing-in ceremony for Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the Anambra State Governor. Read more
