An angry mob has caught and set three suspected armed robbers on fire in Ughelli area of Delta State.
Naija News learnt the tragic incident happened on Friday morning.
Focus Naija reports that the robbers were caught while trying to rob a boutique in the area and were lynched immediately after being beaten to pulp.
The gang leader who’s also indigene of the community, confessed that his mother usually prepares charms for them before embarking on any mission.
The gang who were known to be notorious and a menace in the community were said to have stolen DJ equipment worth millions of naira prompting the locals to launch a manhunt against them.
An eye witness who refused to be named, said in pidgin; “Them don da thief since but nah today them catch them so. Them first thief one dj full instruments oohh, so today nah one boutique for the junction them wan go thief nah them catch them. The ofuoma boy say nah he mama da do jazz for them if them wan go rob. The ofuoma boy so two girls get belle for am.”
