A Nigerian pastor named Ugochukwu Ugwoke has taken to social media to list the prayers points people should avoid as the year draws to an end.
Naija News reports that the pastor made this known via the micro blogging platform, Twitter where he urged people to not use other people’s misfortune as a yardstick to thank God.
Listing prayer points to avoid, pastor Ugochukwu wrote;
“Many are sick in the hospital, but i am healty.
Many are mourning, but i am happy.
Many who started the year with us are now dead, but i am alive.
Other people’s affliction should not be a basis for us to thank God.”
In other news, a popular Islamic cleric and elder statesman, Dr Ibrahim Datti Ahmed has been reported dead.
It was gathered the President-General of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) died on Thursday morning in Kano State after a brief illness.
The prominent medical doctor and politician is survived by one wife and 10 children.
